Shenzhen Jingquanhua Technology (JQH)

Company Overview

Shenzhen Jingquanhua Technology Co., Ltd. (京泉华, trading internationally as JQH) was set up in Shenzhen in 1996 and moved its headquarters to Longhua district in 2003. It listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2017 under the code 002885. The company builds its business around magnetic components and the power products built from them: transformers, inductors, reactors and complete power supplies. Alongside manufacturing in Shenzhen and Hubei, it has set up subsidiaries in Hong Kong, the Philippines, India, Germany and North America, and in 2022 and 2024 added Yancheng and Heyuan production bases.

For a buyer, the reason JQH is worth knowing is the shift in what Chinese magnetic component suppliers are being asked for. Ten years ago the work was wound components to a drawing at a low price. Now it is custom magnetics designed alongside the customer's converter topology — resonant inductors and main transformers for a charging pile, PFC chokes, common-mode chokes for an inverter, medium-frequency isolation transformers — where the supplier has to understand the circuit, not just follow a spec sheet.

Main Products

  • Transformers: high-frequency switching transformers, SCB cast-resin dry-type transformers, oil-immersed transformers, medium-frequency (MFT) isolation transformers
  • Inductors and reactors: PFC chokes, resonant inductors, common-mode chokes, filter inductors, DC reactors
  • Power supplies and adapters for consumer and industrial applications
  • Charging infrastructure magnetics: a full set for EV charger power stages

Certifications

The company describes itself as a national high-tech enterprise. Product-level certification depends on the series and the destination market, so the certificate to ask for is the one issued against the exact part number you are buying, not the company-level listing. Confirm UL, VDE or ENEC recognition file numbers with the issuing body before you commit, and ask whether the file covers the specific construction (bobbin material, insulation system class, creepage distance) you need.

Key Facts

  • Founded 1996; Shenzhen Stock Exchange listing 2017, code 002885
  • Headquarters: Guanyue Road, Guanlan, Longhua District, Shenzhen; second Shenzhen site at Pidi, Longgang
  • Manufacturing: Shenzhen, Hubei (2010), plus bases in Yancheng and Heyuan added in 2022 and 2024; overseas production in the Philippines
  • Overseas subsidiaries: Hong Kong (2008), North America (2014), India (2016), Germany (2017)
  • Joint research centre with Hunan University on power conversion and control (2019)

Buying Notes

On a magnetics order, the specification that decides everything is the insulation system class and the resulting temperature rise allowance. Ask for the class (B, F or H), the wire enamel grade, the tape and bobbin material, and the hipot test voltage and duration for your application. A supplier that quotes a transformer as "class F" without naming the wire and the interlayer insulation has given you a word, not a specification.

Also ask, for anything above a few hundred watts, for the core loss curve at your switching frequency and the winding AC resistance at your ripple frequency. Copper loss at 100 kHz is not the DC resistance, and the gap between a well-designed winding and a naive one can be 30 percent of total loss. That is the difference between a converter that meets its efficiency target in a 45 °C cabinet and one that does not.
