Guangdong Dongpeng Holdings (东鹏控股 / 003012.SZ)

Dongpeng (东鹏, listed on the Shenzhen exchange as 003012) is the easy one to miss when you are building a supplier list from outside China, because it is a domestic brand first and its export business is small relative to its factory base. That is exactly why it belongs in the directory: it is one of the few integrated groups in China that makes both floor and wall tile and sanitary ware at scale, which is unusual and useful if you need a single accountable source for a bathroom or a floor package.

The short version for a buyer: Dongpeng is a real manufacturer with real kilns and real sanitary ware production, it will sell to you as an OEM or as a brand licensee, and its export volume is growing quickly off a small base. It is not a private-label mill in the way a Chaozhou factory is, and it is not a Foshan trading office with a brand bolted on either.

Company overview

Founded in 1972 in Shiwan, Foshan — the old pottery district of the "Southern Kiln Capital" — Dongpeng is one of the oldest surviving ceramics operations in the Chinese industry. It is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under code 003012 (东鹏控股, Guangdong Dongpeng Holdings), with its registered office at Jihua West Road 127, Chancheng District, Foshan.

The company describes itself as one of the country's leading manufacturers of tile, slab and sanitary ware, and its business now spans porcelain tile, sintered slab, complete bathroom solutions, integrated wall panels, tiling ancillaries and eco-materials, plus a "decoration to the door" service that installs what it sells. In its FY2025 annual report summary the group reports eight production bases in China with over 7,000 sales terminals, and five of those bases — Qingyuan, Fengcheng, Chongqing, Jiangxi and Hunan — are certified as national-level green factories. It is also described as the only building ceramics company designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a "green supply chain management enterprise".

Financially, FY2025 revenue came in at RMB 6.062 billion, down 6.30% on 2024's RMB 6.469 billion, with net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 352 million, up 7.15% year on year, and operating cash flow of RMB 874 million, up on the prior year. In a year when the national ceramic tile output fell to 48.60 billion m² (down 17.8% per China Building Sanitary Ceramics Association figures), a modest revenue decline with profit growth is a reasonable outcome and says something about how the group managed inventory and mix through the downturn.

Main products

The tile range is broad and conventionally segmented: glazed porcelain — polished-glaze, rustic and wall tile — and unglazed porcelain in the form of polished full-body product. Slab and sintered stone sit in a separate product line, and the group's brand portfolio puts its large-format and design-led slab under the IW label, alongside a licensed Italian brand platform (dpi casa) and a German sanitary brand (innoci).

On the sanitary side, Dongpeng covers smart sanitary ware, vitreous china, bathroom furniture and the fittings that go with them — the "whole bathroom" configuration rather than just ceramic pieces. This is the part that matters most to an importer: very few Chinese groups can quote you a bathroom set and matching floor tile from one quality system.

Its FY2025 report notes that Dongpeng was one of the lead drafting units for China's new ceramic tile grading standard, GB/T 45817-2025, and that it was among the first to pass the highest 5A grade under that standard — for both tile and, unusually, smart toilet products. That is a domestic standard and not an export approval, but it tells you the group is inside the room when the standard is written, which is a useful signal about process control.

Certification

The group reports national-level green factory status at five production bases, green supply chain management enterprise designation from MIIT, and a Wind ESG rating of AA. It also cites participation in the drafting of 147 national and industry standards across tile and sanitary ware. For export-specific approvals — CE marking, and the destination-market certification you actually need — confirm per product and per market with the company directly; these are product-specific and change, so treat this file as a starting point rather than a compliance record.

Note that export enquiries at a group of this size generally route through a dedicated international business unit or an appointed distributor in your market, not through the domestic brand channels. If you approach via a Foshan trading company presenting Dongpeng product, ask for the factory authorisation letter and the production base name; several genuine agents exist and several opportunists do too.
